What gets measured gets done. However, the bigger the team the trickier it might get to keep track of KPIs and measure performance. It gets even harder if your company happens to have several sales teams, offices, or even branches.
To keep your reporting clean (and your sales managers sane), we brought in User Groups.
Now, you can divide your salespeople into groups and review their performance on a team basis!
When the KPIs of the many outweigh the KPIs of the few
As a salesperson, you’re focused on your targets. But as a sales manager, it’s important you keep an eye on the big picture.
For example, while Jane has closed more deals than Matt this quarter, Matt’s (EMEA) team is performing way better than Jane’s (North American) branch. So it might be time to take a step back and evaluate your regional strategy.
Thanks to the User Groups, you can easily see the performance of each team (and their members) in your custom reports and manage the situation appropriately.
Zoom in on the deals in progress
While reports give you a great snapshot of the teams’ performance, sometimes you might want to take a closer look at the deals each team is currently working on and their status.
You can easily do so by going to the Kanban view and simply filtering your Pipeline by a User Group you need.
Take a peek into the sales future
It’s good to have a clear picture of your teams’ current performance. But to accurately plan your sales strategy and targets, as well as spot potential issues while there’s still time to mitigate them, it’s important to have access to sales forecasting tools.
