Find and add new leads

Research is what Perplexity does best. It can dig into a company, tell you who the decision-makers are, bring up the company’s latest news, and link to every source it used. If something looks off, you can open the link and check.

And with OnePageCRM connected, the research doesn’t stay in the chat. Perplexity can save the people it found as contacts in your CRM, with tags, notes, and follow-ups already attached.

Update your sales CRM

Tell Perplexity what needs changing in your CRM, and it will make the update for you. It can move a deal to the next stage, save a note on a contact, set your next follow-up, and more.

You can also put several updates in one request, and Perplexity will make each change in OnePageCRM. The chat shows what it did, so you can check each one.

Get intuitive dashboards

Ask Perplexity for a dashboard of your pipeline, and it will build one from your OnePageCRM data. The dashboard is interactive, so you can click through the stages and filter the numbers you see.

If it’s a report you want regularly, Perplexity can take care of that too. Set it up once as a scheduled Task, and it will keep running without you asking again.

FAQ about Perplexity CRM integration

  • What is MCP?

MCP is short for Model Context Protocol. It's the connection that lets Perplexity read your OnePageCRM data and make changes there, within the limits you set. Every OnePageCRM plan comes with it, and there's nothing for you to install.
  • How do I connect Perplexity to OnePageCRM?

In Perplexity's settings, add OnePageCRM as a new connector, paste in the connection URL, and sign in to your OnePageCRM account to approve it. The whole setup takes about five minutes. You'll find each step in the setup guide at the top of this page.
  • Do I need a paid Perplexity plan?

Yes. Connecting apps is a paid feature in Perplexity, so this integration won't work on its free plan. Any paid Perplexity plan will do, and the plan you're on with OnePageCRM makes no difference.
  • Do I have to turn the connector on in every chat?

Sometimes, yes. Perplexity sets its connectors per chat, so OnePageCRM can be off when you open a new one. If an answer ignores your CRM data, turn the connector on in that chat and ask again.
  • Can Perplexity send emails from my CRM data?

Yes. Perplexity can draft emails from your notes and other CRM data, and send them through its Gmail connector once you approve them. If that Gmail address is the same one connected to OnePageCRM, the sent emails will show up on each contact's page too.
  • Is my sales data safe with this Perplexity integration?

Yes. Perplexity can only see and change what you allowed during the setup. You can give it read-only access, which means it can answer questions but never change your records. And you can disconnect it in Perplexity's settings at any time.
  • Which OnePageCRM plan includes the Perplexity integration?

Every OnePageCRM plan includes the integration, and so does the free trial. Whether you're on the smallest plan or the biggest, the connection works the same way.
  • Do I need Zapier to connect Perplexity to OnePageCRM?

No. Perplexity connects to OnePageCRM directly through MCP, so there's no extra tool to buy or look after. You paste in one URL, sign in, and the two stay connected until you disconnect them.
